I have been making crafts, cooking and reading for as long as I can remember.

My mom had me help in the kitchen — measuring and stirring. My Memere taught me how family and food go together. My Gramie taught me to use the best ingredients in what I make.

My mom taught me to sew gifts and doll clothes, curtains and totes. My Gramie taught me to quilt. My Memere taught me to knit by making dish clothes.

Reading has always been a refuge for me as well as a way to learn more about the world.

I explore my adventures into these hobbies on this blog, and I hope you find it helpful as you follow your passions.

  1. hey, sarah! i found your blog when you posted about your 42nd letter on facebook, and i thought you might be interested in a blog my best friend and i run – it’s signedyoursoulmate.tumblr.com 🙂 it’s a penpal-finding blog, since the two of us became best friends years ago through becoming penpals! just thought i’d share, since we seem to have a common interest in letter-writing 🙂
