Two months of madness

So, my last post was in August and there is so much to catch you up on since then. My goodness!

August was post-wedding and finally time for our honeymoon! We had an amazing time touring the region of Tuscany of Italy. We saw the capital, Florence; Pisa, of course, and some smaller towns – San Gimignano, Montecatini, Lucca and Sienna. Beautiful.

We had pretty long flights there and back, so I finally finished a bevy of books. In the last two months, I’ve read “Sharp Objects” by Gillian Flynn, “Italy in Mind” a compendium edited by Alice Leccese Powers, “Dear Thief” by Samantha Harvey, “Right Behind You” by Lisa Gardner, “The Ocean at the End of the Lane” by Neil Gaiman” and “The Man of Legends” by Kenneth Johnson. All were good. My favorites out of the bunch though were “Sharp Objects” and “Man of Legends.”

The other thing taking up much of my time was that in the days before leaving for our honeymoon, my husband and I made an offer on a house that was accepted and in September we work feverishly to prepare everything to move. We’ve finally settled into our new place, but…

Tomorrow is my first craft fair. So, since moving in I been scurrying to finish all the projects I wanted to (I didn’t) and label all the prices and stage the booth (done!).

So everything is piled in my dining room now waiting to be packed up in the car tomorrow. I overestimated my abilities I think signing up for this some months ago, but as you can see there’s been a lot going on since then, too.

Anyways, if you are visiting New Hampshire this weekend, stop by Andover High School on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and say hello.
